Behind the Scenes in a Dinosaur Fossil Laboratory
Paleontologists may use hammers and chisels to extract dinosaur fossils from the Earth, but once the fossils arrive in the lab, scientists turn to newer technology like CT scanning to unlock their mysteries.

When and where is the next total solar eclipse? Total solar eclipses don’t happen at the same time or the same place regularly, due to the 5-degree offset between the Moon’s orbit around the Earth and the Earth’s orbit around the Sun. But if you’re curious if a future total eclipse will be viewable from your backyard, you can see all the total solar eclipses forecasted for the next 20 years in ...

Where are All the Tiny Dinosaurs?
Просмотров 97 тыс.3 месяца назад
A dinosaur as small as a mouse-pretty hard to imagine, right? That might be because most of the dinosaurs we know and love-T.rex, Apatosaurus, Triceratops-are all huge. Or it could be because tiny dinosaurs simply didn’t exist. #dinosaur #paleontology #museum Join paleontologist Roger Benson at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City to find out about the biggest and smallest kn...

Paleontologists dig for Jurassic dinosaur fossils
Просмотров 14 тыс.5 месяцев назад
The Morrison Formation is one of the most famous dinosaur fossil sites in North America. Since the 1890s, it has been the site of discoveries such as Stegosaurus, Apatosaurus, and Allosaurus. But there’s more to be uncovered. In 19th century, expeditions to the Morrison Foundation focused on the fossil remains of large animals, but today scientists are searching for fossils of species that were...

2022 Isaac Asimov Memorial Debate: Space Pollution
The evidence that atomic physics and cosmology is Darwinian is abundant. Its account is being drafted in a private office. Is the world ready for such a revalation?

superb
NDG needs to stop his stupid remarks and giggling and interruptions.
Needs a lot of work. Accuracy is not good.👎
If they made fusion a decade goal we be ok shouldn’t the USA make it a race like the space race was?
Does the matter density in supermassive black holes negate the need for dark matter to explain where all the missing matter went?
What if the James Webb Telescope didn't completely focus like it supposed to do and any readings would be off with no one realizing the problem for decades to come.
How great is the Creator of this pretty system!
I LOVE how the pangea farce is a non-factor here.

According to JWST ...... there is no such thing as astrophysic !!!!!
If you're watching this in 2100, you're experiencing the peak population.
I find it amusing that the continents on this cartoon are so huge. Australia take 25% of the globe, Africa take 45% of the globe. Antarctica takes up 40% of the globe and Australia is in the northern hemisphere while Equator is on the North Pole.
Yeah, but the bible says... Someone should do a video on evolution of religion, and how it's become the biggest scam in the history of mankind.
spider movements from İstanbul airport wow
Neil… can’t watch his pretentious and vain self…. Gives science a bad name.
Fascinating! Would be nice to have an agenda and then summaries.
Few bad decades for physicists ....
Michael pulled it out of his ether 🤣🤣🤣

So they found metals! Other reports said there was a lack of metals in the first galaxies. And therefore they were so simple and it didnt affect the age of the universe. And now they say that everything happened much faster in the early universe so still the age of the universe is the same, 13.6 or .7 or .8. So how to believe these conclutions because they dont acnowledge what jwst has found and refuse to change the age of the universe. How can they have been so far off? It is a huge difference of .8 billion years to .5 and now 1 to 200.000 years. They are just so confusing when they say there was no galaxies in the early universe when jwst just took pictures of them. And then they say there was by changing the possibility of time being different then. Amazing:)
In the News: Lorenzo Prendini, a curator at an American museum, was detained in Istanbul on Monday for allegedly attempting to smuggle endemic poisonous species from Türkiye. Istanbul police organized an operation at Istanbul Airport after detecting an attempt to smuggle the species abroad. Police seizes 58 clip-on bags with 1,500 endemic scorpions, tarantulas, spiders from American Museum of Natural History curator's luggage
Dark matter the biggest con in physics-indirectly inferred , not observable, how convenient.
No mention of Multi-verse?

NASA hasn't developed humanoid robots, reusable rockets, modern boring machines, Starlink world wide communications, Musk has. To not acknowledge the most influential person to the future of mankind, tells me where you're at. Jeannine
It only took NASA fifty years to get back to the moon and they can't build reusable spaceships. The best thing NASA has done in that time is employ engineers. Jeannine
TRUE.
You only to observe what Elon Musk is doing to know the future. Jeannine
Neil de Grasse Tyson always dodges the issue of consumption. Let's say we develop fusion and have limitless energy, we still won't have limitless land, limitless water, limitless minerals etc. Whilst production of "stuff" including industrialised food and agriculture continues, we will continue to wreck the ecosystem and drive more and more species into extinction leaving all life with a very poor planet to live on.
ARE U PEOPLE STUPID OR WHAT U CANT WORK OUT WHERE U CAME FROM FOOLS OF FOOLS
Cause god you guys!
Enjoy prison lorenzo
Oh, i welcome this video
As smart as these people are, they refuse to accept the truth in its simplest form, which is: There is a GOD and He created the entire universe. “The Heavens declare the glory of GOD!” How excellent is Thy Name O’ LORD!
This is incredibly fascinating. Thanks all for giving us more visions to ponder
NO it didn't change Astrophysics. Just our understanding.
I watched this back in November of 2011 when I was 11 years old at the American Museum of Natural History in Fort Worth, it's a real shame there's no way to find it now. And rest in peace to the late Bill Paxton. One of my favorite actors ever.
Humans are black. They came from today's south sudan. They spread everywhere in the world. Hindu Gods were also black. British changed it
How do you figure humans are black when there are numerous shades of color?

Very cool. If you see the map there seems to be a small increase in population growth rate from 850 onwards. And then aftter the plague causes heavy decline it suddenly increases to a much higher rate than before at the start of 1400. I wonder why that is.
